Dr. Ian Castaldi Paris

Chairman of Majjistral Action Group Foundation

The Majjistral Action Group Foundation, or MAGF was set up in 2009 to help improve the quality of life and economic prosperity in the North West areas in Malta. We aim to achieve this through driving economic development and regeneration, developing business competitiveness and increasing the awareness and management of the natural assets in our region.

MAGF brings together relevant public, private and voluntary sector organizations and individuals to help influence and shape rural development and improve the quality of life in our region (please refer to section Territory).  A local development strategy (LDS) has been put together by the group that outlines what MAGF would like to achieve over the coming years.

The group has received significant support from all Local Councils, Farmers cooperatives and associations, local NGOs and SMEs over the past 2 years.
